Blair owns Edge Control Ski & Outdoor Store, a full service (sales, service and rental) ski shop in the winter, a clothing and outdoor equipment store in the summer and the year-round in-town location for Walks and Talks Jasper.

He has been guiding for Walks and Talks Jasper over the years, mostly as an excuse to get out into the park he loves so much. Blair's experiences in Jasper started in the mid-seventies as a Fire-Tower/Patrolman and was a raft guide for 15 years. He always likes to share his experiences.

Blair is an accredited Mountain Parks Heritage Interpretation Association (MPHIA) guide at the Professional level.
