Wilcox Pass Hike and Picnic at the Columbia Icefield

Departs daily at 9:30 AM – allow 7 hours.

Learn about mountain building, glaciers wildflowers and history as we hike up to be rewarded with awesome views of Athabasca Glacier. Watch for Bighorn Sheep, Marmots and Eagles. We'll keep an eye out for fossils too.

Picnic lunch in Wilcox Pass.The trail has been rerouted by Parks Canada so much less difficult as it is no longer as steep... always there are planned stops so the guide can point out things of interest.
